Having purchased the Vgate-Icar Pro 4.0, I am experiencing problems with the adapter constantly disconnecting from the car.
It seems to go into a sleep mode. I need to unplug it and then plug it back in to connect to it. To make matters worse, it happens on the go and the adapter disconnects at irregular intervals, usually around 15 minutes into the drive. I've tried using it with different phones with the same result. My car is a 2022 Hyundai loniq 5 (EV). I am using the EV Watchdog app to connect to the adapter. I don't think it supports BT-LE, am using normal Bluetooth to connect

1. The icar Pro will go to sleep 20 minutes after disconnection or when the car is switched off
When you use the icar Pro to connect to the EV Watchdog, please do not put the phone on hold or switch to other applications as the phone may clear the background and cause the icar Pro to hibernate when it is not connected.
2. icar Pro auto wake function can support petrol cars but not electric cars, while loniq 5(EV) is an electric car, so it can't auto wake, you can choose vLinker MC+ which supports auto wake function for electric cars as well as petrol cars
