Automatic wake-up for electric vehicles - admin - 02-20-2023
The vLinker MC series now supports automatic wake-up for electric vehicles, as well as petrol vehicles
Prerequisite: change of MC firmware version to 2.2.82, firmware update file at http://www.vgatemall.com/downloadcenter/
MC wakes up automatically when the vehicle is switched off for 20 minutes and the device is put into hibernation and the vehicle is restarted.

I just updated my vLinker MC to firmware 2.2.82 and tested the automatic wake-up on my EV. It worked exactly as described—went into hibernation after 20 minutes, then woke up smoothly when I restarted the car. Super convenient!

That's a neat update for the vLinker MC series! Automatic wake-up definitely adds convenience, especially for EV owners. No more manually reconnecting every time you hop back in the car. I wonder if this will impact battery drain at all while in hibernation. Thinking about all the car games I could play using real time data, it would be great to easily connect it to games like Drift Hunters too for a more immersive experience! I'll definitely check out the firmware update. Thanks for the heads up!
