I'm wondering if the Vgate Vlinker MS adapter is compatible with the Car Scanner app, and if it can display detailed information about the individual battery cells and temperature of my Hyundai IONIQ 5 electric vehicle."

The vLinker MS is compatible with Car Scanner, and as far as I know Car Scanner can also support IONIQ5 cars, but the control unit needs to be seen if the app can support it!

I'm considering MS but I'm worried if it's too fresh a product, maybe still underdeveloped, something will fail?
Second thing - most of the MS vLinker on AliExpress have Updates: NO. Wondering why they can't be updated. Some unaupdateable readonly hardware?

froom.. what I’ve seen, Car scanner does a good job with Hyundai electric vehicles, but you may need to customize some settings or use a predefined profile for the IONIQ 5. Once set up properly, you should be able to access detailed battery info, including cell voltage and temperature.
I wouldd suggest,., checking out the Car Scanner forums or user-contributed profiles for your specific car model. That can save you some setup time
