Firmware update function - admin - 02-04-2023
I'm now wondering if I gain anything by updating the iCarPro OBD2 dongle to the latest firmware, if it makes the Bluetooth transfer speed faster or if there is something else that justifies a firmware update for me of the dongle when only using it for this particular purpuse.

1. The firmware update does not modify the Bluetooth transmission speed, the firmware update is to add protocols to the adapter and make it available to more apps, and add more sensors or other modules, if you are using an app that does not have undetectable modules then you do not need to update
2. If you want to make your Bluetooth data transfer faster, you can choose the vLinker MC+ as it has a fast transfer speed and will be stable.
