There are two firmware: iCarPro_V4.0.0X and iCarPro_V4.1.10.
1. Because the vgate brand has been around for many years, some long ago products have lower versions, so you need to upgrade with iCarPro_V4.0.0X and then with iCarPro_V4.1.10, so your iCar Pro is the latest version.
2. If your iCar Pro is recently purchased, then you can directly use iCarPro_V4.1.10. -

I only bought this adapter two years ago, because it was recommended for Bimmercode.
Previously, I used TuneECU on a Triumph motorcycle and the VGate adapter allowed me to check diagnostics on the bike.
I now have a newer bike and want to use the latest features for TuneECU, which requires a vGate vLinker MC. That's a lot of extra money just to replace the iCar Pro!
I'm trying to update the firmware on the iCar Pro but unable to do so. Version v4.0 will not install - see attached screenshot - saying my iCar Pro is too old. It's only two years old and has only been used about six times.

I must have been sold old stock - shame that it is not upgradable. A vLinker MC+ is now purchased. -
