NOTE:
APP can only be connected to BLE.
Just enable Bluetooth settings on your Android device.
DO NOT Need to connect Bluetooth Name on Android device.
Then connect the Bluetooth device name in the OBD app setting

Step1:
Open the APP and click the button in the upper left corner.





Step2:
Click on "Plan sttings".





Step3:
Click on "Edit settings".





Step4:
Click on "+ OBD".





Step5:
Click on "Understood".





Step6:
Select "IOS-Vlink".





Step7:
Connected successfully.

       
Hi,
I have been excited and waiting for my Vgate2 to arrive and setup ABRP. No matter how i try, i am unable to get the BLE to connect with the app. (see pic attached) I have updated the Vgate to latest firmware. All works ok if i connect the V gate standard bluetooth, but will not connect when i see the BLE device in the list (as i understand, i should not need to connect this anyways). Hopefully there is something simple someone can assist. thanks in advance.

The device connects via BLE and does not need to be paired with Bluetooth before it connects!

Hi and thanks for getting back. Yes. i had read your earlier comment. I have tried unpairing with the standard BT and not touching the pairing side of things at all. No matter what i do, i cannot get the phone to talk with the dongle. I have looked at and played with as many options i can find with the galaxy s23 ultra as i know. Do you have any other ideas that i can try and prove the problem cause? thank you.

You can use another app to connect, if you are sure that there is no problem with the product BLE, it may be that the app doesn't support iCar 2 you can buy iCar Pro

I also had the same problem when connecting an OBD2 device to ABRP. A little trick is to try a standard Bluetooth connection first, then reopen the app to see if the BLE device connects automatically. Alternatively, you can try forgetting the BLE device in the Bluetooth settings and pairing it again. Have you tried this method?

Some OBD devices may require a pairing code (PIN). If prompted, enter the device's PIN. Make sure the OBD device is plugged into your vehicle's OBD port.
