Hello,

with the purchase of the new "vLinker MS" adapter I am having problems with upgrading the firmware of it.
When i try to connect via "VgateFwUpdater" on my Android 14 device the app just closes everytime. (tested on app v. 2.6 from GP and v. 2.8 APK from download section of this site)
I also own the "vLinker FS" adapter and i have never found any problem upgrading it, still working as it should.
Is it a known temporary bug or something else?

I don't have the possibility to test the update via PC.
Also i want to address the issue to developers, so they can check and fix it ASAP.

Hello.
Please disconnect the other apps before updating, you can observe the device's indicator light, if the blue light is always on, then another device should be connected to the device, taking up the connection channel, so it's preventing it from updating

The blue light is blinking but the app keeps closing when i try to connect to "vLinker MS".
The "FS" model works fine at the same time in identical conditions.
I think it's a SW issue.

Issue solved by removing all associated Vgate bluetooth devices on my phone.
Hope it will help someone.

Hello, I just joined the forum because my old account can't log in again. Lately, I'm having the same problem as you, even though I deleted all related Bluetooth Vgate devices on my phone, everything is still black.

What do you mean by "everything is still black"?

Your vLinker FS is working fine, suggesting the MS issue is model-specific or app-related, not user error. I’d bet on Android 14 throwing a wrench—common with niche tools like this. The Windows route’s your best shot for now; I’ve updated vLinker stuff that way when mobile apps flaked out.
