That's frustrating! I had a similar issue with a Bluetooth adapter for my car radio. Turns out, some devices are just poorly designed for constant power. Have you checked if your car's OBD port stays powered even when the ignition is off? If so, that could explain why it's not sleeping properly. Maybe try a different OBD port if your car has one, or look into adapters with a built-in on/off switch. Good luck!

When the car has been turned off for 15 minutes, the device will automatically enter sleep mode.
