Constant disconnection problem
Tux2609 > 08-22-2024, 08:26 AM
I just got my cable, installed drivers, updated firmware, configured forscan settings and then when I try connecting to car I either get "no adapter found" or it connects to the car, reads modules and then disconnects and shows the same message. If I unplug and plug in again sometimes it finds it again but looses connection very quickly. I don't know what else to try. -

It may be because the USB port is too loose resulting in poor contact, you can try to connect to another USB port(08-23-2024, 02:34 AM)admin Wrote:

Hello.
Did you fail to update before?
1. After the update failed, please power off the product and update again, otherwise it will keep failing, unplug the product from the car as well as the USB port
2. During the update, the product only needs to be connected to the USB port of the computer, not to the car, if you connect the device to the car, then it will also cause the update to fail. -

You can also download the update file for the vLinker FS USB in the same way at www.vgatemall.com, bring the device back up to date and it will be back to normal! -

Good afternoon, I am also now experience the failed please power device on message when trying to update to the latest firmware.
There is no firmware that I am seeing on that website to even attempt to try an older version. Not sure what else to do. Any suggestions? Sometimes it will say error on line 109, then the failed please power device on.
"Port is opened!
Change the baud rate to 2Mbps!
**Failed** Sending error on 109 line!
**Failed** Please power on the device again!
**Failed** Please power on the device again!"
EDIT** Also worth nothing, I've tried every baud rate in the app then attempted to update, with the same result. I've tried WIFI, all of it, no luck. Any help would be appreciated! -

Hello
After the update fails, the product will be occupied with the connection channel, at this time, you need to unplug the product from the USB port, unplug it and re-plug it into the USB port, update it again, select 115200 for the baud rate, and the product will be back to normal after the update is successful!
Please note: When updating the product, you only need to plug it into the USB port of your computer, not into the OBD port of your car, if you plug it into the OBD port of your car when updating, the update will fail!
