Hi everyone, I’m Skyler, and I’ve been using the vLinker FD+ for routine diagnostics on my Ford Focus 2018 with the Car Scanner and Forscan Lite apps. It’s always been dependable, but after my phone updated to Android 14, the adapter suddenly stopped linking properly; it powers up and pairs via Bluetooth, yet both apps freeze on the connection screen or time out before communicating with the ECU. I’ve reset everything, tried different vehicles, cleared caches, and even switched to another app just in case, but no luck so far. The firmware on the adapter is v1.3.8, and before this update, it worked flawlessly. Has anyone else run into the same problem or found a workaround? I’d really appreciate some guidance before I risk trying a firmware flash or replacement. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,
i have Vlinker MS tool and it's working on Win10 Thinkpad laptop normally with Multiecuscan 5.4 , but after a few days later when i try to use i cant connect to Vlinker MS tool...
When i check BT setting on Win10 , i see that Vlinker device is erased from the Matched Bt device list !!!
at the first; i thought that it's erased by accidentally or mistakenly by pressing the small button on Vlinker MS.
then matched again and use again normally , after a few days later i couldnt use again, then checked and saw that 's the same problem! Vlinker was erased from Matched Bt device list again..
this story repeates continuesly,,
I changed 2 different laptop and 2 different Vlinker MS tools and tried it but same problem continues . its not related win10 or laptop related issue. I have friend who use it's own Vlinker MS he also complains the same problem!!!!
Anyone have same problem, THE admin and Vlinker support team please help ?
P.S
i also updated the Vlinker MS firmware v.2.3.22 but it's not solved anything.

Hello everyone,
I am using two Vgate adapters:
iCar Pro WiFi
iCar Pro 2S (Bluetooth)
Both adapters work flawlessly in other vehicles: connection is established immediately, error codes and live data can be retrieved. My smartphone also pairs without any issues (WiFi or Bluetooth).
Problem: In my Hyundai i30 with Bosch ME17.9.11 (part number 39112-2B125), no connection to the ECU can be established. Tested with various OBD apps (Torque, CarScanner, etc.), result is always the same: “ECU not found.”
The adapters themselves and the smartphone are fully functional. The issue occurs exclusively with the Vgate iCar ↔ Bosch ME17.9.11 combination.
Question to the community: Are there known limitations, protocol issues, or solutions for this ECU/adapter combination?

I just got a Vgate vLinker FS USB and I’m trying to connect it to my sprunki retake computer. I have a few questions:
- Has anyone experienced unstable connections or random disconnects?
- Which OBD software works best with the vLinker FS USB?
- Any tips for connecting directly to a laptop vs. using a USB hub?
